1. Services We Provide
Nagy-Kovács Naturalization offers Hungarian language instruction and preparation for the simplified Hungarian citizenship interview procedure. Our services include:
- One-on-one Hungarian lessons via Google Meet
- Mock interview sessions
- Consultations and document assistance
- Books and study materials
- In-person immersion camps
We are language teachers and interview preparation specialists. We are not lawyers, immigration officials, or agents of the Hungarian government. We do not process citizenship applications on behalf of clients, and we cannot guarantee approval of any citizenship application.
2. Bookings and Payment
Individual sessions
Lessons, mock interviews, and consultations are booked and paid for in advance through our website via Stripe. Once payment is confirmed, you will be redirected to our scheduling page to choose your time slot.
Immersion camp bookings
Reservations for the Immersion Camp are made through the reservation form on our website. Upon receiving your inquiry, we will contact you within 24 to 48 hours with next steps, including deposit payment details and the full participation agreement.
Balance: The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure.
Late payment: Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in loss of your place and forfeiture of the deposit.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Individual sessions
Sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no cost. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable. In case of illness or emergency, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling.
Immersion camp cancellation
Cancellation by the participant is subject to the following schedule:

The deposit is non-refundable in all cases.
Cancellation by us
If we must cancel a camp due to insufficient bookings (minimum group size not reached), participants will receive a full refund, including the deposit. In case of cancellation due to force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, war, or similar circumstances outside our control), we will offer either a full credit toward a future camp or a partial refund at our discretion.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all Immersion Camp participants. You must provide proof of valid travel insurance covering the full duration of the camp, including medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and lost baggage, before departure. We strongly recommend policies that also cover cancellation for pre-existing medical conditions.
We do not sell or arrange travel insurance and are not responsible for claims or coverage decisions made by your insurance provider.
5. Travel Documents and Border Crossings
Participants are solely responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documents (passport or EU ID card) for the duration of the camp. The camp includes crossings between Hungary and Romania. Both countries are members of the European Union and the Schengen Area. EU nationals require a valid ID card. Non-EU nationals should verify entry requirements for Romania and Hungary before booking.
We are not liable for costs, delays, or missed portions of the trip arising from insufficient or invalid travel documents.
6. Health and Fitness Requirements
Participants must be in good general health and reasonably mobile. The camp involves walking through cities, cemeteries, castles, and countryside settings, sometimes on uneven terrain. If you have any medical conditions, mobility issues, dietary restrictions, or other requirements that may affect your participation, please disclose them at the time of booking.
Participants are responsible for their own medical needs and any required medications during the trip.
7. Conduct During Camps
To ensure a positive experience for all participants, we ask that everyone:
- Treat other participants, hosts, staff at accommodations and venues, and locals with respect
- Arrive on time for scheduled activities
- Follow safety instructions given by the hosts
- Refrain from disruptive behaviour, including excessive alcohol consumption
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour we consider disruptive, unsafe, or damaging to the experience of others. No refund will be provided in such cases, and the participant will be responsible for their own travel arrangements home.
8. Photos and Media
During the camp, we may take photographs or short videos to document the experience and for promotional purposes on our website and social media. If you prefer not to appear in any published material, please inform us in writing at the start of the camp. We will respect your preference.
9. Limitation of Liability
We take reasonable care in the planning and delivery of our services. However, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for:
- Delays, cancellations, or losses caused by third parties (airlines, hotels, guides, restaurants, etc.)
- Personal injury, illness, or loss of property except where caused directly by our negligence
- Consequences of participants failing to follow safety instructions
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, war, or civil unrest
- Any outcome of a citizenship interview or application, which is decided solely by the Hungarian authorities
10. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during our services (books, worksheets, guides, videos, and digital content) are the intellectual property of Nagy-Kovács Naturalization or their respective authors. Personal use is permitted. Redistribution, resale, or public sharing without written permission is not.
11. Privacy
We handle your personal information (name, email address, phone number, and any other details you share with us) in accordance with GDPR requirements. Your information is used solely for the purpose of providing our services and communicating with you. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except where necessary to deliver our services (for example, hotel bookings) or where required by law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Hungary.
